Bob and Yolanda Espinoza have been living in the Capitan area of New Mexico since 2008 and they love it. Bob was born in Santa Paula, CA, then lived in the San Fernando Valley for 30 years working for big film companies processing 35 mm film negatives. Upon retiring he first moved to El Paso, TX with Yolanda, then to Capitan when El Paso turned out not to be their dream retirement location. Both were impressed by gourd artistry through their visits to Sedona, AZ, and elsewhere so decided to start their gourd art company three years ago. They both have innate talent and it shows.  First they hand pick the gourds to be transformed into their works of art. Bob carves the shapes then Yolanda paints them and adds the intricate beadwork. Bob’s heritage is Native American, so many of the gourds show this wonderful history. Both Bob and Yolanda are perfectionists in their work so all the gourds are of the highest quality craftsmanship and quality. They create many seasonal gourds throughout the year.
