This is a hand-painted hand-carved art gourd. Two eagles are depicted catching a fat salmon for their meal. They are detailed and beautifully painted. The salmon jumping out the water is also richly colored, and the top of the gourd is beaded.

A beautifully carved and painted gourd depicting a proud bald eagle head. It is a “Thunder Gourd” so is built to have a metal cord that when moved makes a sound a bit like thunder! It is 10″ wide by 12″ tall.
